Bria Simpson, MA
Business and Life Design Coach
Bria Simpson is a business and life design coach. She works primarily with two populations. The first are those in transition who are ready to create their “next chapter”. Through a series of assessments and coaching sessions, Bria shows clients how to turn up the volume of their own voice (and turn down the volume of others), connect with their authentic selves, and discover ideal career options that utilize their innate strengths and passions. They essentially gain a roadmap for living a quality, fulfilling life.
Bria also helps advancing entrepreneurs by teaching them how to effectively hone their focus, systematize their businesses, improve their teams, and connect with their values, so they can enjoy more freedom and ease in their lives.
With a cum laude degree from Duke University and a Masters in Psychology, Bria draws on a breadth of experience that includes 25 years as a therapist, business owner, published author, business and lifestyle coach/consultant, and mentor for at-risk teenagers. She has also earned a certificate in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at Duke Integrative Medicine.
Bria is a bestselling author of The Balanced Mom- Raising Your Kids Without Losing Your Self (New Harbinger, 2006) and is a featured author in the business book, Mastering the Art of Success, along with Jack Canfield and other well-known experts. She has appeared in Redbook, Newsday, on Good Day New York, Martha Stewart XM, and in dozens of publications, radio and TV shows throughout the country.
As the mother of three kids ages 14-21, and the wife of a smart, funny, entrepreneurial guy, Bria is devoted to living and working in balance. In her free time, she loves to do yoga, meditate, mentor at-risk teenagers, interview potential Duke students, cook, ski, learn about other cultures through travel, read, and enjoy good food, good wine, and good times with family and friends.
